What Learning Technologies contributes to Cardinal Health

Learning Technologies is responsible for leading the definition and implementation of the learning technology strategy to support learning activities for internal and external customers. Maintains a validated, FDA-compliant learning management system and supports learning technology across the enterprise.
  • Demonstrates knowledge and advises on usage of learning technologies (including learning management systems), Cardinal Health desktop technical environment, authoring tools, and interfaces

  • Implements and maintains a validated learning management system in compliance with FDA and Cardinal Health company policies and procedures through LMS governance and adherence to validation processes, audits, and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures/Work Instructions.
  • Guides and supports LMS administrators, content owners and other users to analyze and resolve problems. Provides training strategy consultation, designs and develops learning solutions and communications, outlines remediation plans and conducts functional testing of courses and system.
  • Serves as the business liaison and manages external vendors to ensure outsourced programs/products meet internal requirements and objectives.


This position will support the Supply Chain Training team of the Learning & Development COE. The regional role will support the implementation and management of enterprise wide supply chain training programs, including Global Manufacturing & Supply Chain (GMSC) and the Pharmaceutical segment. This would include Learning Management Systems (LMS) administration, program measurement tracking, LMS administrator coaching and support for the many site specific learning ambassadors.

Accountabilities
  • Position has an enterprise focus on Global Supply Chain, providing regional support for Learning Ambassadors, LMS administration, training program logistics, and success measurements for development programs.
  • Maintains relationships and support with local Learning Ambassadors, including auditing & measuring
  • Leading \"Train the Trainer\" sessions & Learning Ambassadors on-going development
  • Collect training needs and intake, in conjunction with program managers
  • Conduct training and facilitation as needed
  • Relationship owner with local site learning administrators, including mentoring & governance
  • Manages the Learning Management System (LMS) and develops learning administrators on LMS responsibilities according to Standard Operating Procedures
  • Tracks regional training progress through data collected from local administrators
  • Tracks identified program metrics, by site and by individual
  • Responsible for alerting leadership of location trends and proactively identified training challenges
  • Collaborates closely with program managers in both planning and implementation of programs
  • Collaborates closely with global peers, both in same position and in other Learning & Development Center of Excellence roles.


Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in related field preferred
  • 2+ years' experience in training, learning and development or related field required
  • LMS Administration experience preferred
  • Facilitation experience preferred
  • Experience in the analysis of data, trends and utilization of Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
