Operates a variety of laboratory equipment, may calibrate and make minor repairs. Participates in the performance of chemical analysis work. Performs the field-testing or laboratory testing on construction sites. Prepares media and reagents, monitoring and recording quality of reagents. Reviews and performs calculations and completes test reports for distribution. Trains to develop analytical procedures or standards for compliance with regulations governing health, safety, and purity Bachelor's degree in a physical or natural science from an accredited college or university.
